Preview Tours with Usetiful Chrome Extension

We are happy to introduce Usetiful for Chrome , a new browser extension that enables you to preview all your Usetiful product tours on any site without touching the code. Just follow the steps below to preview your product tours: Install plugin and preview your tour 1. Enter Google Chrome Web Store and install the  Usetiful: Product Tours  extension. (Note: Usetiful: Product Tours browser extension works with Chrome browser only) 2. When the plugin is successfully installed, the Usetiful icon will appear in the browser top bar with the following message. 3. Click on the Usetiful icon and log in using your Usetiful credentials. If you are currently logged in to the Usetiful, the plugin will connect to your account automatically. 4. Go to the page where you want to preview your tour.   To associate tour steps (pointers) with specific elements on your site, you need to hook to the selectors of elements. Selectors are used to "find" the HTML elements on your site. It is not difficult to find out the selector of a specific page element. The easiest way is to use our Chrome extension . Usetiful for Chrome extension (Recommended) 1. We recommend you to first install  the extension  - it enables you to preview product tours directly on your page without embedding the code. Install Usetiful to start publishing product tours

Once you installed Usetiful, you can start to publish product tours and begin collecting data for their analysis. The only thing you need to do is to embed a bit of javascript to your website. If you use tools like Google Tag Manager , you don't even have to touch your website code. If you are not a developer, send the code to somebody who can help you. Different Ways to Preview Your Product Tours

To preview your Usetiful product tours before they go live, you have 3 options: Option 1: Use Usetiful for Chrome Extension The first and the easiest way to preview your tours is to install our Usetiful for Chrome extension. Just follow these instructions . Option 2: Use External Browser Plugin Many browser plugins enable you to run a javascript code locally on any website. If you are using the Chrome browser, we recommend using the  User Javascript and CSS plugin, because it's easy to use and work perfectly with Usetiful. To preview your tour follow these instructions: 1. Install the plugin . 2. Navigate to the page where do you want to preview the tour. 3. Click on the plugin icon in the browser toolbar. 4.
